ON THE WAY TEAM USA!

Softball camp with TEAM USA was amazing! Jennie Finch is so awesome!

We all got to take a picture with her and the gold medal she won at the Olympics.
I worked with the catcher and I learned a bunch.
Jennie did demonstrations and worked with pitchers.

All of the TEAM USA girls that were there signed a softball for me. Maybe one day I will be signing softballs for kids at a softball camp.

Summer fun

We decided to celebrate summer break by spending the day at the pool. Check out how many bottles of sunscreen Mom had out on the table. It was so hot out, we spent the whole time in the water.

Last day of School skating party

The fifth graders got to go to the skating rink on the last day of school. We had a lot of fun!

5th grade graduation day!

5th grade graduation day finally arrived, and it was a fun day. Kaytlyn and Carolyn spent the night with me, so that we could get all dressed up and mom could do our hair. Grandma came and watched our ceremony, and after a few elementary school missing tears, we went out to lunch. My Friend Ashley is in the second picture, she had a big swimming party at her house after school that day, and we had a great time.

FSU softball camp

I went to FSU softball camp this summer and it was awesome. These are two of my coaches, Brittany, and Ashley. They both play for the lady Seminoles.

I got some pretty good

hits during our scrimmages. I was just faking a bunt in the next picture.

We played three scrimage games, and my team won all three. Jessica Gilmore was my coach. She went to the Jr. Olympics in China, she is awesome!

We spent some time in the pool during camp. We ha a pool right outside the front entry of the dorm building.

This is Hayley and I in our dorm room. It was cool to be a college kid!

We had our dorm room all decorated with FSU. Everyday I wore FSU outfits, and I even had FSU slippers.

Macie is my name and softball is my game. I'm the best catcher there has ever been. I also play 1st base. I play for a travel team called High Intensity. We're getting there, but I'm not so shabby. I take lessons a lot, but they are really fun. Ellen McNair and Jessica Gilmore give me lessons, and they're both sooooo awesome. Did I mention they are awesome? I've come so far thanks to them. So here's a big shout to them. I am trying to get better, so I guess we'll see what happens.
